Among the appointees is Ujjwal Nikam, a seasoned lawyer widely recognized for his crucial role in prosecuting the perpetrators of the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts case. His nomination acknowledges his decades-long commitment to justice and the legal system.

Former Foreign Secretary and Other Notable Figures Also Appointed

Joining Nikam in the Rajya Sabha are former Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla, renowned social activist C Sadanandan Master, and distinguished historian Dr. Meenakshi Jain.
