Some stories start with struggle and end with impact. Piyush Nagar, founder of Credit Samadhaan, turned his personal hardships into a mission: to give millions of Indians a fair chance at financial opportunity, no matter their credit score.
From Childhood Hardships to Entrepreneurial Drive
At the age of eight, Piyush lost his father and had to shoulder responsibilities far beyond his years. To pay for his schooling, he sold ice candies and took on commission-based work, learning the value of perseverance early in life.
Despite these challenges, he pursued engineering and, in 2009, founded Sixth Sense IT Solutions — a global IT firm serving 4,000+ clients, including corporates, MNCs, and government organizations. But Piyush’s journey wasn’t just about business success; it was about creating meaningful impact.
The Discovery That Sparked a Mission
While working with a rural fintech startup, Piyush realized a startling truth:
-
Out of 1 lakh loan applications, nearly 99,300 were rejected
-
Over 70% of these rejections were due to low credit scores
Millions of Indians — farmers, entrepreneurs, and homebuyers — were being denied opportunities, not due to lack of ambition, but because of a number on a credit report.
This revelation inspired Piyush to create Credit Samadhaan, India’s first AI-powered Credit Score Rectification & Repair platform, after 1.5 years of research.
Breaking Barriers with AI and Human Support
Credit Samadhaan repairs scores across CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, and CRIF, often within 45 days, using AI to make the process simple, transparent, and effective.
To reach deeper into communities, Piyush introduced Credit Samadhaan Kendras in 18 states, combining technology with human guidance. These centers not only help repair credit scores but also create local employment opportunities, blending innovation with social impact.
Tackling India’s Widespread Credit Crisis
The credit landscape in India is challenging:
-
40% of home loan borrowers pay extra interest
-
80% of Kisan Credit Card applicants face rejection
-
36% of small businesses are denied loans
-
31% of auto loans are rejected
-
Real estate losses total $2.65B annually
-
Nearly 28 lakh CIBIL complaints filed in FY 2023–24
Credit Samadhaan is helping millions overcome these financial hurdles.
