Students and staff at two prestigious Delhi schools experienced a frightening start to their week as bomb threats forced evacuations on Monday. St. Stephen’s College, affiliated with Delhi University, and St. Thomas School in Dwarka received separate email threats, prompting swift action from authorities.

Two Schools Targeted in Separate Incidents

The threats, delivered via email, caused immediate concern and triggered a rapid response from school officials and law enforcement. Students and staff at both institutions were quickly evacuated, ensuring their safety while investigations commenced.

Heightened Security Measures Implemented

Security has been significantly increased at both St. Stephen’s College and St. Thomas School following the incidents. While details of the investigation are still emerging, police are actively working to determine the source and credibility of the threats. Two other schools, one in Chanakyapuri and another in Dwarka, also received similar email threats on Monday adding to the security concerns.
