Alia Bhatt’s Ex-Assistant Arrested in Alleged Rs 76 Lakh Fraud Case

Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has been allegedly defrauded of over Rs 76.9 lakh by her former personal assistant (PA), Vedika Prakash Shetty. Shetty’s arrest follows a complaint lodged by Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan, with the Juhu Police.

Former PA Accused of Forgery

Shetty, who worked as Alia’s PA from 2021 to 2024, is accused of forging signatures to carry out the alleged fraud. Authorities apprehended Shetty in Bengaluru and brought her to Mumbai.

Court Remands Shetty in Police Custody

The court has remanded Shetty in police custody until July 10 as the investigation continues. More details are expected to emerge as the police delve further into the case.
