Rajasthan Road Washed Away Days Before Inauguration: Locals Cry Foul

A newly constructed road in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district, meant to connect Baghwali-Jahaj to National Highway 52, has been washed away by heavy rains just days before its inauguration. The collapse, caused by the swelling Katli River, has left the villages of Papra and Panchlagi disconnected.

Locals Suspect Substandard Materials

Villagers are pointing fingers at the use of substandard materials in the road’s construction, alleging corruption and negligence. They are demanding a high-level investigation into the incident and action against those responsible.

Demand for Expert Supervision in Future Projects

To prevent such incidents in the future, the villagers insist on expert supervision for all upcoming construction projects. They emphasize the need for quality materials and adherence to proper building standards to ensure the longevity and safety of infrastructure.
